1. Getting Started

What is XPme?

XPme is a social experience platform that allows users to discover and complete experiences and challenges, earn XP, unlock badges, and share their experiences with others.

How do I create an XPme account?

You can sign up for XPme by:

  • Downloading the app from the App Store or Google Play.

  • Clicking "Sign Up" and going through the sign up process.

  • Agreeing to the Terms & Privacy Policy.

How do I earn XP and unlock badges?

XP is earned by completing experiences listed in the XPme app. Each experience has a set XP value, and earning XP helps you unlock badges.

Can I use XPme without an account?

No, an account is required to track XP, complete experiences, participate in challenges, and engage with the XPme community.

2. Account Management

How do I change my username or email?

  • You cannot currently change your username.

  • To change your email go to Settings > Account Settings > Email Address.

  • Enter your email address and click contact support.

  • Enter the new details and send email.

  • We will verify your details and update them.

How do I delete my XPme account?

  • Go to Settings > Account Settings > Delete Account.

  • Select Delete Account.

  • Confirm the deletion request.

  • Your data will be permanently removed within 30 days unless required for legal reasons.

Can I recover a deleted account?

No, once an account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. If you plan to return to XPme, we recommend leaving your account activated.

How do I reset my password?

  • On the login screen, tap “Forgot Password”.

  • Enter your registered email.

  • Follow the reset link sent to your email.

  • Or go to Account Settings > Reset Password and follow the prompts.

3. Troubleshooting & Technical Issues

I can’t log in. What should I do?

  • Ensure you’re using the correct email and password.

  • Try resetting your password.

  • Check if XPme is undergoing maintenance.

  • If the issue persists, contact support.

Why isn’t my XP updating after completing a challenge?

  • Ensure you’ve followed the challenge rules.

  • Try refreshing the page, app or logging out and back in.

  • If XP is still missing, report the issue via Support.

The app is crashing or not loading. What can I do?

  • Close and restart the app.

  • Check for updates in the App Store/Google Play.

  • Clear the app cache in your device settings.

  • Reinstall the XPme app.

  • If anything is still not working, report the issue via Support.

Why is my location not detected?

  • Ensure location services are enabled for XPme in your device settings.

  • Try restarting your device and reopening the app.

  • If anything is still not working, report the issue via Support.

4. Privacy & Security

How does XPme protect my data?

XPme follows strict security practices, including:

  • Encryption of sensitive data.

  • Regular security audits.

  • Compliance with Australian Privacy Laws and GDPR.

How do I manage my privacy settings?

  • Go to Settings > Edit Profile > Profile Visibility.

  • Adjust profile visibility.

Can I request my data?

Yes, you can request a copy of your data by emailing hello@xpme.app with the subject "Data Request."

How do I report a privacy concern?

If you believe your privacy has been compromised, contact our Privacy Team at hello@xpme.app.

5. Reporting Issues & Community Guidelines

How do I report inappropriate content or a user?

  • Tap the three-dot menu next to the content/user profile.

  • Select Report and choose the reason.

  • Our team will review and take action if necessary.

What happens after I report content?

Our moderation team reviews reports and may:

  • Remove the content.

  • Warn or suspend the user.

  • Ban the account if necessary.

What are XPme’s community guidelines?

XPme encourages users to share experiences responsibly. Violations include:

  • Hate speech, bullying, or harassment.

  • Spam or self-promotion.

  • Fake challenges or manipulated XP.

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in suspension or account termination.
